Interesting – May have put on a little weight

Got Kenpo in front of me later today.

I had to bring Kyle to the doctor today and hopped on the scale and may have put on a pound or two.   Scales could be different – but it’s also possible that I put some weight on since I’m kind of eating 6 times a day (3 meals and 3 snacks).    Hopefully, will sweat that off and continue to build muscle over fat.

    Hey Eric,

    Love the blog.

    You probably already know this but… As you gain muscle you will gain weight. As you lose fat you will lose weight. Muscle weighs more than fat. You probably will not see much of a weight change at first. You will be gaining muscle and losing fat simultaneously. You will notice the dimensions and proportions in your physique change before you notice the numbers on the scale change. And your clothes will fit better.

    Did you take your measurements before you started? You can still take them.

    The important thing to remember… Do not let the numbers on the scale distract you from your goal. Getting fit!!!
