what does the applestore apps in PKGBackup provide? Is it only data for programs, or the programs themselves? Can’t find any good documentation on it.

I can’t find a program called PKGBackup in the Apple Store. The only PKGBackup I’m aware of is the one by Pragmatix Consulting.
